Launch of the Korea Photo Gallery Association
Purpose of Establishment and Business
The Korea Photo Gallery Association aims to contribute to the promotion of understanding, public dissemination, and international exchange of photographic art in order to realize the Hongik philosophy of photographic culture, and to promote the following projects with a sense of social responsibility and mission to foster a sound market for photographic artworks and establish order in distribution.
1. Holding exhibitions and events for the dissemination and promotion of photographic art
2. Establishment and implementation of measures for efficient photographic art activities, such as business consultation and information exchange among members
3. Research on photographic art activities and publication of informational periodicals
4. Holding workshops and seminars to expand the base of members and photography art enthusiasts
5. Discovery of new talent and support for distinctive artists
6. Other projects necessary for achieving the Association's objectives
